The 27th of March the whole world will turn it’s light off for climate change. The World Wildlife Fund started this international campaign for the first time in 2007 in Australia. Two Million people turned their lights off for one hour to make their stand against climate change. In 2008 the movement spread over the world and famous buildings like the Opera House in Syndey, The strip in Las Vegas and the Euromast in Rotterdam participated. This year at 8:30pm local time every individual, community and business throughout the world is asked to turn off their lights for one hour! With this call WWF wants everyone to stand up, take responsibilty and get involved towards a sustainable future! So make sure you have some candles in house and turn of that light!!

Last weekend we went to the fantastic play Late avond idealen. The play is about the generation of NOW and takes place at a spectaculair catwalk decor where the public is placed opposite each other. Some hip youngsters are having an After-After party and discuss the meaning of life, their ideals and what to do whith them. In the meantime they are partying and eating junkfood. The play really shows how difficult it can be to have ideals and to also live by them. For us, the generation of NOW it is definitely recognisable and confronting and a lot of fun! The little reminder at the end of the show (which we won't tell) and the goodiebag put some extra sugar to it all. We are nowhere without some critical self-reflection.

Quote from the Vogelfabriek website " We can cry in our bed for hours because the Northpole needs to be saved and the polar bears are drowning and in the meantime we put our electric blanket a bit warmer".
