QO HOTEL AMSTERDAM

For the opening of the QO hotel in May 2018 we were asked to develop and produce a talkshow event connecting travelling to sustainability. The goal; getting the QO concept across to both hotel guests and Amsterdam locals.

We developed a talk show concept around ‘New Luxury Travelling’ to get to know the traveller and the destinations of the future. Luxury travelling is about constructing experiences that align with our unique interests, needs and values. As high-end as the word LUXURY might sound, the more visitors might feel connected with it when put in this ‘NEW/ NOW’ daylight.

We invited Jelle Derckx from Growthinkers, Esmée van Veen from KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and QO’s own cultural ambassador Rachel Owusu to discuss the future of travelling.

Questions from the moderator as well as lots of questions from the audience like; How to pack less & pack better, how to fly a bit more sustainably (and if that’s even possible?) And how circularity finds its way into the hotel industry were discussed, sending the audience on it’s way with practical tips on how to travel more sustainable. And conversations about the topic between hotel guests and locals continuing at Q|O’s stunning rooftop bar!

Next to developing the concept for this talkshow event we moderated the event, wrote the script for the evening, curated, briefed & welcomed the speakers and the Q|O communication team with copy for the event promotion.
